Yet again we were blessed with beautiful autumnal weather this morning.
250 parkrunners enjoyed the course along with several accompanying dogs, buggies, and keenly watched by the local squirrels, and possibly the odd rabbit and bird of prey (watch out for a bird’s eye view report coming soon!).
Despite being a serial volunteer and frequent Run Director, Mark Lightfoot managed to squeeze in his 100th parkrun today – congratulations!
Also achieving his 100th was Matt Jessop.
Plus Julian Messenger and Hilary Nicholas both claimed their 50 shirts today.
Well done to all of you.
Tourists this week included Striders from Audley, Penny Lane and Stilton, a Trotter from Tilston, a Whippet from Whitchurch and a contingent of Rebel Runners resplendent in their parkrun apricot.
So this was Delamere parkrun number 361 – and bizarrely yet again it all adds up!
Number of runners =250
Number of PBs =43
Number of Delamere first timers =37
Number of volunteers =19
Number doing their first ever parkrun =12
Which all adds up to 361!!
A special thank you as always to our wonderful volunteers.
See you all next week!
