Run Report – Event No. 87 – 29th November 2014

First over the line today was Mike Walker and his dog, proving six legs are better than two! Well done to both of them. Gemma Barnett finished first lady for a not at all unlucky 13th time!

We welcomed visitors from County Durham, Manchester, Conkers in Leicestershire and Bradford parkruns and a good handful of first timers, too. Congratulations to Charlie Weaver of West Cheshire AC who earned his 10 t-shirt this week.

We will be holding an extra parkrun on Christmas Day: 9am as usual, fancy dress encouraged. If your day is going to end with more mince pies being consumed than Brussels sprouts then what better way to start it than with a run! However, if you think training on Christmas Day is a step too far, something to be reserved for Daley Thompson and Seb Coe (both famous for training twice on Christmas Day, in the hope of gaining the edge over their rivals) then of course on Boxing Day there is the Chester Round the Walls Race run by West Cheshire AC. More details and entry available online for this annual sell-out event.
