Derry City parkrun 17-03-18

It wouldn't be a parkrun nowadays without the biting wind, but that didn't stop 80 of our finest parkrunners braving the St Patrick's Day 5K today.

Apologies if you're not in the photos, the photographers fingers stopped working properly half way around due to the cold weather :-)

Welcome to all the first timers this week, Mark HOUSTON, Calum HATTERSLEY, Julie DUFFY, Mary-Jo MCGINN, Kerry FEENEY, Kevin GALLAGHER, Sade AKINTOLA, Malcolm JOHNSTON, Alison TRIMBLE and Jamie WALKER.

Despite the strong wind there were several PB's today. Well done to Roy MCGILLOWAY, Paul FERGUSON, John MCGURK, Dessie MCCOURT, Mark DOHERTY, Donal ARMSTRONG, Patrick WALKER, Cahal O'SULLIVAN, Shauna HERRON, Ryan WALKER, Jim O'NEILL, Fiona GRAHAM, Sharon BARR, Charlotte BRIGHT and Martin MEENAN.

This week 80 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 15 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 10 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 12 volunteers: Justin WALKER • Anne HUTTON • Patrick WALKER • Peter MORROW • Theresa JOHNSTONE • Pauline HAMILTON • Aisling ARMSTRONG • Aoibheann ARMSTRONG • George ROW • Carol CASSIDY • Judith WALKER • Diarmuid ARMSTRONG
