Run Reports are on Facebook

Hi,

Just to advise that our run reports are now being published on Facebook, along with any photos taken from the event. We have found that Facebook is by far the platform with the biggest engagement from parkrunners, hence our decision to stop publishing run reports on our website.

Our Facebook page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/derrycityparkrun/

Kind regards,

Derry City parkrun team.

Christmas and New Year run

We will be having a special Christmas Day run this year, starting at 9:30am.

Feel free to dress up in your Santa, Elf or any other Christmas outfits! This is not a day for PB's, with the emphasis firmly on the fun and community aspect of parkrun.

We will be also having a New Years Day parkrun, starting at 11am - PLEASE NOTE THE TIME WHICH IS DIFFERENT FROM OUR NORMAL PARKRUN START TIME!!!

Buncrana will also be hosting an eariler New Years Day parkrun, so for those committed parkrunners there is the chance to do the double on this day. Please no rushing between events, stay safe on the roads.

Derry City parkrun 07-04-18

Another lovely morning today, and for the first time I felt a little heat in the sun. Does this mean spring is finally on it's way? Several hardy runners were out in their shorts today so maybe it is finally getting that time to ditch that extra layer (or 2 or 3) :-)

Biggest question though, did anyone else see the dolphin this-morning (spotted first thing by our keen eyed tail walker)?

Well done to the Hillcrest Couch to 5K team who graduated today, hopefully this won't be your last parkrun and we will see you back soon.

Welcome to our first timers this week, Liam REED, Blaine STEWART, Rory KENNEDY, Fergus DUFFY, Aaron MCGOWAN, Iain HARPER, Blanche MUNGENGA, Laura DUFFY, Richard GALLAGHER, Catherine MALLETT and Sean HARGAN.
