Simon got up at the crack of dawn today to make sure the finish funnel was ready to go and this week we shared the river banks with the rowers participating in the Durham Amateur Rowing Club regatta.
Yet again we were pleased to see a bumper crop of first timers run, walk and jog the course - a fantastic 52 this week. Well done to you all, hope you enjoyed the run and we see you back very soon.
Well done also to regular volunteer Alex Latham who joined the junior ten club today and to Rishi Jindal, Amy Franklin and Abigail Thompson who completed their 50th run today. A huge round of applause goes to Pip Hughes who ran her 250th run today, an amazing achievement.
Thanks as ever to our volunteers who did a great job this morning manning the timers, scanners and marshal points etc. If you’d like to volunteer next week or any forthcoming week please email in to email@example.com
