Event number 203
14th March 2020
Thank you all for coming this week amid the Covid-19 chaos - it was a genuine pleasure to see you all.
This week 238 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 33 were first timers and 23 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 26 different clubs took part.
There was no hand shaking or high fives. Bodily fluid exchange was banned and self token sorting was the order of the day.
What we did have plenty of was fun, butt bumps, elbow slams, good cheer, happy chat, exercise and mud! Now go and wash your hands!
We are hopeful for more of the same next Saturday but please do keep an eye on our facebook and twitter @fldparkrun for the latest news.
Whilst it is considered safe and appropriate to do so, we will have a parkrun at Ellenbrook Fields.
If we are cancelled refunds will be given.
The event was made possible by 21 volunteers whom we thank very very much and kept dosed up with hand sanitiser and covered in rubber gloves.
