It may have been dreich, but there was plenty of effort through the glaur this morning as we welcomed newbies and regulars alike for another Falkirk parkrun.
Special welcome to visitors from Edinburgh, Stirling and Lanark. We had one of the parkrun golden batons on hand today, and this was duly handed over to our visitors from Lanark to continue its journey.
Special mention to Andrew Sarle (50th run) and Eileen Anderson (100 hours volunteering - Saltire Award).

This week 257 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 32 were first timers and 34 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 19 different clubs took part.

Falkirk parkrun started on 16th July 2011. Since then 10,261 participants have completed 81,917 parkruns covering a total distance of 409,585 km, including 15,248 new Personal Bests. A total of 1,058 individuals have volunteered 8,643 times.
