Run Report – Braes Blazers

Run report 30/11/19

It was a very chilly, still and beautifully sunny St Andrew’s Day that greeted the regulars, first timers and Braes Blazers Netball Club volunteers this morning. The frost covered trees in Callendar Park looked resplendent in the winter sun.

Two milestones were reached this weekend. Linda Thomson, also a member of Braes Blazers, who ran her 50th parkrun as tailwalker and Malcolm Paul who ran his 100th. Congratulations to both!
17 first timers were welcomed to Falkirk too, hope you enjoyed it.

Braes Blazers netballers thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at parkrun this morning and the sub-zero temperatures did not chill enthusiasm! Holly’s World Challenge cupcakes were a very welcome treat too. If anyone would like to try netball come along and find the Blazers at Braes High School on Monday nights, 7:30-9:00pm (see Braes Blazers Netball Club fb page for details)

Thank you for having us! We might even come back to volunteer again sometime.
