It’s the Fabulous Fabbey midweek message! Wednesday 9th January 2019

Firstly, don't forget that the fantastic Fountains café is being refurbished starting this week (12-Jan), so there will be limited food & drink provision post-parkrun, for around 5 weeks. There will be a small catering trailer and coffee van open in the circular space at the Visitor Centre, and the Trust has decided to open Mill Café for hot drinks (not hot food) from 9.30 am on this Saturday 12/1 as a trial. A room (The Aislabie Room) will be set aside behind the shop for folks to eat, drink and socialise. If parkrunners could allow the Run Directors some table space in there after 10 o'clock, that would be appreciated, so we can avoid any delays and get the results processed and the tokens sorted in our usual swift manner.
Also, our run this Saturday is being adopted by the wonderful families of St Wilfrid's RC Primary School, the people organising the Muddy Boots 10k on 10th February, starting from the school on Church Lane. They've provided a volunteer roster that's as bulging as your typical Xmas waistline, so you'll be in good hands. A few places in the race are still available at you!
