Gibside parkrunners you did me proud this week by jumping into action to help a fellow parkrunner. His mum has confirmed that he is feeling much better and should be back running with us next week. Whilst our emergency procedure went to plan, it did make me wonder how many of our parkrunners were carrying ID with emergency contact information.

If you haven't done so already, how about checking out the range of products available from our authorised parkrun barcode supplier. My barcode wristband is an essential part of my running kit, especially when I'm running alone. If you've got a birthday coming up, maybe drop some not so subtle hints . . . http://www.parkrun-barcode.org.uk
