Volunteer takeover weeks
Next weekend we are welcoming local This Girl Can group This Girl parkruns North East. They are going to be taking over all of our volunteer spots with the support of Run Director Tony Robson. If you'd like to find out more, check out their Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1864672077138069/?fref=ts
The following week (30th September) is our regular monthly volunteer takeover from Derwent Valley Running Club. If you're local and interested in joining this friendly club, then just have a word with one of the volunteers on the day. https://derwentvalleyrunningclub.co.uk
If you are part of a local running club or group we'd love you to all come along and do a volunteer takeover week. We can provide the Run Director for the day, who is there to give any training needed for the technical bits and knows all about the ins and outs of the event. It's loads of fun and you all get to wear a very fetching hi-viz vest. Just drop us an email if you're interested - email@example.com
