On Saturday 7 March 2020, Hastings parkrun will celebrating International Women’s Day, lots of parkruns around the world, will be hosting a female-focused parkrun celebration. #IWDparkrun will be supported by This Girl Can, a campaign created by parkrun partner Sport England.

So why not join in with the celebrations by bringing a female friend, colleague or family member and walk, jog, run or volunteer together! & why not join in with the suggested PURPLE dress code for the day! (great opportunity to wear your purple milestone volunteer t-shirt!)

25th Jan run Report

A slightly different parkrun last Saturday. By the time it was realised the tokens where missing the runners where about to start coming in! Did the volunteers panic? NO. Did I curse Yes. Some quick thinking, and do our best attitude had the whole of the finish crew shout numbers, taking names, and barcodes. The parkrunners where a bit surprised. But as we all know things can go wrong. I have spent the last few day adding runners to results and will do some more tonight if you are missing from the results. then I will stop.
A BIG thank you to all the finish volunteers, Matt for shouting numbers and everybody who offered to help. I am very touched. And to all the parkrunners for your patience and understanding.
