Run Report - Hay Lodge, Peebles
On Saturday we welcomed 64 people to Hay Lodge Park for this week's parkrun. It was especially nice to meet some of the 19 new faces to Hay Lodge, including a few who were participating in parkrun for the very first time. I hope you enjoyed your first taste of parkrun in Peebles?
The weather took a turn for the better and rewarded us with with some warm sunshine and light winds. Perfect running conditions for 8 of you who recorded new personal bests. A massive well done from all of us on the core team!
It's the volunteers that make the event happen every week and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved this week;
Sue MCNEILL • Ian NIMMO • Sheena TURNER • Archie CAMERON • Sharon COWLE • Neil CHRISTIE • Donald GRIGOR • Peter CADDICK • Scott GOURLAY • Alison CORMACK • Andrew FISH • Joseph IPPOLITO • Iain FLEMING
I mentioned in my pre-run brief that we still have a number of volunteer spaces over October (see below). With the exception of 16th October, when the event isn't on, there are spaces each week. If you're free and would like to help out then please email us at email@example.com. It really is easy and also great fun.
