And they just keep coming!
It's always great to see new runners at Heartlands, and this week was no exception.
Of the 24 first timers, 12 ran their first ever parkrun! Congratulations on making that important first step! We now have over 1800 runners with Heartlands as their home run, up another 22 in last week alone. Welcome everybody.
Another great week with over 100 runners, and a stack of PB's. The weather forecast didn't put you off, in fact it was probably much warmer than expected.
Massive thanks as always to the hi-viz heroes, our volunteers. Worth remembering that parkrun is wholly put on by volunteers, so please do your bit every now and then and support your fellow runners. Without them (you!) there will be no parkrun.
See you all next week, and have a great weekend
Chris Walker, Co-Event Director
