Higginson, Marlow Run Report 24/08/19 #49

The sun shone brightly for 162 runners and 19 volunteers this morning in Higginson Park, Marlow for event #49. With our course once again free from fallen trees; we were welcomed with open arms by today’s run director, Lynne and her merry band of high vis hero’s. Tourists were welcomed from Ilfracombe, Richmond, Dulwich and as far away as Maidenhead; thanks for making the trip to see us folks! Amongst our runners, 65 were enjoying their first visit to ‘Higgy’ and 23 set a new personal best time. Well done to all our runners! The ran-well-bell took a good ringing today and it was really uplifting to hear the cheers. You are a lovely supportive bunch!!

A great big THANK YOU to the volunteers who donned some factor 50 and braved the sun for us this morning.
