Hockley Woods parkrun Event #259 Run Report 15th February 2020



Well storm Dennis didn't transpire to much, and this week 176 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 17 were first timers and 9 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 18 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Kerry HOLLAND who recorded a time of 19:04 on 12th November 2016 (event number 91).
The male record is held by Adam HICKEY who recorded a time of 15:24 on 27th October 2018 (event number 190).
The Age Grade course record is held by Val NAYLOR who recorded 87.98% (26:37) on 23rd July 2016 (event number 75).

Hockley Woods parkrun started on 7th February 2015. Since then 7,204 participants have completed 51,434 parkruns covering a total distance of 257,170 km, including 9,748 new Personal Bests. A total of 599 individuals have volunteered 4,784 times.

What better way to celebrate International Women's Day than to have local running club Essex Ladies doing a club volunteer take-over of most of the roles!

Join us on Saturday 7 March 2020, the day before International Women's Day, in a celebration of female participation at parkruns all around the world.

Why not bring along a female friend, colleague or family member and walk, jog, run or volunteer together!
