It was the Spring bank holiday weekend and the sun managed to peek out right at the end as 130 people ran, jogged, pushed buggies, walked their pooch and walked the course, of whom 34 were first timers and 24 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 18 different clubs took part including St Albans Striders and Bristol and West AC.
We welcomed tourists from Guildford and Upton Park whose own runs were cancelled, Bristol, Burgess Hill, Market Harborough and also a group from St Albans, nice to see visitors here, hope you enjoyed your run through the woods!
New to parkrun this week were Grace HARTLEY and Lizzy MILLS, run #1 is the most important, so super well done!
Reaching the 50 milestone this week and earning their red shirts was regular volunteer Marie BUYS, and Tim CANE, 30 of Tim's runs here at Homewood. Stepping up to 100 runs, all the way from St Albans was visitor to Homewood Sue EDWARDS, well done to everyone and thanks for the cakes!

Setting a new PB today was Rob HARKNESS of Windle Valley Runners on 18:23, quickest female was Lucia TREGELLIS on 21:23, symmetrical times go to Timothy JACOBSON on 30:30, Isla EVANS on 37:37 and Gary COOLES on 41:41, good running everyone!
