Event #254

Another glorious morning in the country park, the sunlight and birdsong almost making up for the loss of an hour overnight!

The nice weather did seem to work it's magic on everyone as we had another good sized field of 168 participants.

We welcomed a long list of visitors, from Tadcaster, Barnsley, Market Rasen, Stevenage, Bath, Dublin, Berkhamsted and even further afield, from Melbourne and Perth Australia. We hope you all enjoyed your visit with us, we'd love to welcome you back again another week : ).

Well done to everyone who took part in the Hell on the Humber endurance event yesterday, some of you even fitting in a parkrun before taking part!  that's dedication : )

Well done to those of you who took part in the Elvington flyer 5 and 10 mile event today and indeed any other races that were on.

Next week there are a lot of us taking part in a marathon... good luck to all of you heading to Manchester - We're off to Rome so we'll be visiting Roma Pineto parkrun next week and leaving you all in very capable hands.
