Humber Bridge parkrun

Run Report by Martin Greensill

Bright Start to the Month
Our first event in April took place in very pleasant conditions (dry, sunny, little wind) as 195 people ran, jogged and walked our scenic course, an impressive 47 of whom recorded new Personal Bests. On the day that Japan joined the parkrun family, we said 'Konichiwa' (hello) to 36 first-time visitors. including those from as far afield as Australia and as close to home as Scunthorpe. Representatives of 20 different clubs took part, including a large contingent from local club Kingston upon Hull AC, We hope you all enjoyed the 'country park experience' and look forward to seeing you again soon.
