Killerton # 451 11th January 2020.

Run Report.

Our run report has been produced by one of our regular reporters, Alex Ingham.

288 parkrunners waded through the mud this morning at Killerton parkrun’s 451st event. We didn’t get much of an appearance from the sun, but it was still fairly warm in comparison to past months at Killerton. We had 24 first timers this morning, I would like to thank you all very much for visiting Killerton parkrun and I hope to see you all return in the near future. Out of the 24 first timers we had 16 runners who completed their first ever parkrun. Well done to you all, I hope that the mud has not put you off returning! Our first timers had traveled from various locations across the country such as Worcestershire and the Midlands. It is great to see runners from so far afield.

1 runner gained an age-related score of over 75% - David Wilkinson at 75.40% and for the women, Sue Smye achieved the highest age-related grade at 73.08%.

Out of all of our 288 participants this morning, we did see a vast quantity of runners from different running groups, for example South West Road Runners, Honiton Running Club, Tiverton Harriers and Heavitree Running Group, just to name a few!

We did have 15 new PBs this morning, which is very impressive as the current Killerton course conditions are not ideal for PBs.

Milestones.

A very big well done to everyone who achieved a milestone this morning. Congratulations, Tom Pales and Oliver Bennet for completing your 50th Parkrun. A very big congratulations to Julie-Anne Saget, Nick Figgie Daniels and Bruce Odlin for completing your 100th Parkrun. For our junior parkrunners, well done to James Pugsley for achieving your 10th Parkrun milestone.
