Killerton # 454 1st February 2020.

Run Report.
This week's run report has been compiled by one of our regular parkrunners and volunteers, Karen Brewer. Karen is witness to the fact that you can run our lovely course and volunteer as well. Sometimes, Karen has been known to go the extra mile and even undertake THREE volunteering roles on the same day! Brilliant work! I heartily commend her words on volunteering to you all.

All showered, and trail shoes scrubbed and drying. another fab Killerton run. DRY! Yippee, it feels such a bonus to have a dry run, the same could not be said for under foot! Still nice and wet on the course. This course still feels such fun!The start field still staying pretty good under foot and the on to the lane where you have no chance of staying dry,! After Cow Corner you can zig zag and avoid the puddles. Then through the woods is just a pleasure (OK maybe not the inclines!).. but then it just feels a breeze to get to the last field, which is surprisingly not too boggy.. and then the lovely mud finish my favourite bit. The effort needed to keep moving forward and to stay upright. Am I the only one thinking this course will be great in the summer and I hope we do not go back to the old course???
Thank you to all the brilliant volunteers that keep our lovely Killerton parkrun going each and every week. If you have not yet volunteered what are you waiting for??? There are so many roles to choose from!! You have no excuse, you can run and volunteer!! Just check out the list each week , set your self a challenge and do not forget you get a wonderful 25 T shirt after you have completed 25 volunteer roles ..FREE! Yes FREE! so what are you waiting for?
