Land’s End parkrun #15 29/02/2020

A Leap Year parkrun - the next one takes place in 2048!

A big thank you to the 16 volunteers who stood out in the icy cold conditions today.  At least the hailstones held off until we were packing away but there were some cold hands giving out tokens, timekeeping and scanning!

Well done to the 65 runners who were wind-assisted around the course today.  Sometimes a tail wind, other times resistance training!

Our tourist tail walker, Kieran Hughes, was taking part in his 100th different parkrun and 100th parkrun - that's some organising to find somewhere to go every week!

This week 65 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 22 were first timers and 5 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 12 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 16 volunteers:

Yvonne TURNER • Damian COOK • Graham STORER • Carmen DOWLING • Isabel COOK • Harriet COOK • John DOYLE • Tim TWIGGS • Kieran HUGHES • Ryan DYMOND • Sara LEUDAR • Henry DOWLING • John WHITTAKER • Jo SHANNON • Jane THORNTON • Oliver LE CHEMINANT
