Lanhydrock's Dilly Cart Race

is this Sunday 14 June, 11am. This is gravity racing at it's finest, with competitors (anyone from aged 5 and upwards) racing their homemade carts across the park in front of Lanhydrock House. You've got to see this, even if you haven't a cart to enter it for yourself! More details and an application pack from Alice, 01208 265278, alice.barker@nationaltrust.org.uk

Many thanks as always - Alice

The Great Lanhydrock Run – Sunday 21 June 2015

So you've enjoyed a taster of the challenges of running at Lanhydrock... and maybe it's time to try the next step?

The Great Lanhydrock 10 Mile Run is only a fortnight away and is sure to be an interesting, scenic and challenging course.  Part of the multi-terrain race series, this race is a fantastic way to get out and see the National Trust Lanhydrock estate.

For more information and an application form, or to be an absolute star and offer your volunteering skills, get in touch with Alice on 01208 265278 or alice.barker@nationaltrust.org.uk.  Please pre-register to guarantee your finishers t-shirt.  Many thanks.

Whilst I'm here, here's another date for the diary...

The Trelissick 10K on Saturday 22 August, 6.30pm, is also part of the multi-terrain race series.  If you would like information about this one, please contact Alice on 01208 265278, alice.barker@nationaltrust.org.uk.  Again, volunteers are needed to help with marshalling, water stations and handing out t-shirts, so please do get in touch if you can help or can rope in a family member to help whilst you run.

PL FREE weekend!

So we've all had a preview of the Lanhydrock estate as we trot (or gallop) around on a Saturday morning, so maybe it's time to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to the house and gardens?  www.nationaltrust.org.uk/lanhydrock/

Now's the perfect chance for all our locals. Bring along some proof that you're a local resident with a postcode starting with PL and you can get into Lanhydrock house and gardens for FREE this weekend, Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 March. Now who can resist an offer like that?!

You'll even have a chance to look at the 'Monarchy and the Book' exhibition that has been getting all the media attention lately. Perfect thing to do after a spot of parkrun running or volunteering (we still need a timekeeper and an extra marshal is always handy please).

See you on ‪#‎parkrunday‬

Don't forget to follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/lanhydrockparkrun and opt in to receive emails from us on your parkrun profile page, to keep up to date on all things Lanhydrock parkrun.

Thank you.
