Run Report #236 7 July 2019

A lovely morning in Little Stoke park today, with 44 runners enjoying the summer sun. There were two runners completing their first ever parkrun today which will hopefully be the first of many.  Three children were visiting Little Stoke for the first time and we hope you enjoyed it and come back again soon.

Elsa collected her half marathon wristband today and Noah completed his 50th run so there will be an orange wristband waiting for you next week.

A massive thank you to the wonderful group of volunteers who all made the event run like clockwork.  All I had to do was lots of clapping at the finish funnel while they did all the work.  As an RD, the day always runs more smoothly with a full roster so as ever please sign up to volunteer when you can. There is always somebody walking around with a clipboard on which to write some names for next week.  This not only enables the event to run it's fun too!

See you all again soon.
