Looks Like The Chill Is Here ..

We have been very lucky with the weather until now. Yes it has rained almost every week in November and December, but it's the chill that we fear here at Little Stoke as slippery path makes the run unsafe to run. We had 3 cancellations in a span of a month last year because of the path and we feared the same would happen last week as well. A quick test jog around the course indicated it was safe to run if we took precautions to cone off the icy patches.

277 runners crossed the finish line, 31 of them ran Little Stoke for the first time as tourists or first time parkrunners. They were hosted by a fantastic band of 14 volunteers who gave up their run and time to support the event. This week's heroes were -

Christopher O'DONOVAN  •  Dan HEELIS-ADAMS  •  Dave HORNE  •  Donna ABBOTT  •  Felicity RUSSELL  •  Jaya BROOKS  •  Martin HERRING  •  Matthew CURTIS  •  Mayur DESAI  •  Miia BENNETT  •  Oliver MURTON  •  Rachel GOVER  •  Ruth WATKINSON  •  Ryan EDWARDS

About parking and safety -

Please do not park in the parking spaces that are reserved for users of Community Hall. You will find that it is convenient to park at the Baptist Church which is our official alternate Car Park.

Please be mindful of other park users and other parkrunners. parkrunners do not have priority over other park users. Please be extra careful when you are running near the entrance to the Community Hall ( opposite Mo, our running sculpture ).

We recommend you to Run on the Right and Lap on the Left. If you have to overtake someone , you could make full use of the grass and do so on their left.

Thanks for your cooperation and continued support. The detailed run report follows -
