Update: Full Council Meeting in Three Weeks

With exactly three weeks to go until the Stoke Gifford Parish Council full Council meeting on Tuesday 12th April, we thought this was a good time to update you all on developments over the past 6 weeks. Around 8000 people have signed the petition in support of Little Stoke parkrun.

What’s Been Happening?
Members of the Little Stoke parkrun core team secured a meeting with a group of Councillors in order to have further discussions. Since then we have been working with members of this sub-committee to draft a Good Neighbour Policy that sets out the expectations and aspirations of both parties, should parkrun be allowed to remain at Little Stoke Park. This will be presented to the full Council for them to consider.

What More Can I Do?
If you haven't already, you can sign the petition, and if you have you could remind fellow parkrun enthusiasts to also sign, particularly if they live in the BS32 or BS34 postcodes near to Little Stoke Park.

You can email your own experiences of Little Stoke parkrun, what it means to you, and how having this event in your local area has made a difference to you. The details are on our news page here.

And Finally...
The Little Stoke parkrun team would like to thank you all for your continued support. It has been overwhelming at times and we are very grateful!
