FREE volunteer walk leader training with Walking for Health South Gloucestershire

Walking for Health provides free, weekly, led walks in South Gloucestershire.  These walks are led by trained volunteers.

Would you like to help sedentary people get into walking?

Do you have a couple of hours to spare on two or three days per month?

Are you able to attend a training session on Wednesday, 5th February 9.30am-1pm at South Gloucestershire Council’s Yate offices?

If you have answered YES to the above questions, we would love to meet you!

Please call Brian Gardner on 01454 862296 or email brian.gardner@southglos.gov.uk

Walking for health

Thank you for volunteering to help more people run more often.  Thousands of less able people are never going to be able to run.  For them, we have Walking for Health, which also relies on the excellent work of volunteers.  We are looking for more volunteer walk leaders.  Would you like to help?  Please contact me on 01454 862296 / 07702 696363 / brian.gardner@southglos.gov.uk.  We’d be so grateful to meet you and tell you more about Walking for Health.
