We have just inspected the Llanelli Coast parkrun course and here are many patches ice, lots of slush and snow on the course.
The weather conditions are due to get worse before they are better and freezing temperatures are forecast throughout the night.
We have therefore decided to take the early decision to cancel tomorrow’s parkrun.
I’m sure you will understand that safety of all runners and volunteers has been paramount in this decision as we not only consider the actual condition of course but the safety or otherwise of travel to and from the event.

We will run PACER week next week so you will not miss out on this opportunity!

In the meantime, please stay safe everybody and wrap up warm.

Many Thanks
Core Team

East Course

This Saturday the 10th November, we will be running an alternative parkrun route. This course, like the present, will be an out & back one; but shall be run in an Easterly direction. Most parkruns have a plan” B”, in case of bad weather park maintenance etc. I think it will be a nice change, after 98 runs so far. The route map can be seen in the link below.
The course has been measured by surveyors wheel and is exactly 5K.
