Long Eaton parkrun – Our Christmas and New Years Events

For December, we have our parkrun pacer day on the 3rd December to aim for and if you want to volunteer to pace let us know. We have pacer vests for 18, 20, 22, 25, 28,30 32, and 35 minutes.

Following that we have the Christmas Jumper (Christmas t-shirts allowed!) parkrun day on the 17th December. Santa hats and tinsel allowed all Christmas if you like, but in support of Save the Children to raise donations towards charity. Maybe some festive treats for you all too!

As Christmas Eve and New Years Eve fall on a Saturday, we will be open for parkrun business as usual with a festive party spirit!

Christmas day, we will not be running an extra parkrun.

But will instead be starting the year as we mean to carry on with our extra parkrun on New Years Day at 10:30am after the junior parkrun at 9am.
Welcoming you all into 2017 with a bang!!

You can find out other parkrun events here showing Christmas Day (Conkers and Forest Rec) and other New Years Day events (Conkers, Gedling) should you want to attempt a double below!
Last year a few did Conkers parkrun and then to us. Oh yes they did ....... crazy some might say but if you love to run and parkrun why not!

Of course none of this would happen without support and volunteers, so if you can help out, email us at longeatonhelpers@parkrun.com with dates and preferred roles.

Thanking you all and looking forward to the festive period.

Long Eaton parkrun team.
