If you decide to join us there are a couple of important points that you need to be aware of:

1. Just 5 days ago 80% of the course was under water. That water has now receded but it has understandably left the course VERY muddy. There is mud on the paths, mud on the bridges and mud on the mud. The section in the trees is about as squelchy, slippery and (yes) muddy as can be imagined.

2. Unfortunately our hot water urn was flood damaged and has been scrapped so there will be no after-run teas or coffees available this week or for the next few weeks at least. We have very gratefully received a number of donations towards replacing the urn and some of the other key kit that was damaged. If you would like to contribute to this there will be a collection bucket tomorrow, or you can go to the link on this page: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/lydney/aboutus/

So if parkrun for you is about having a coffee whilst showing off your bright white new running shoes then perhaps this is not your week, otherwise see you tomorrow. Bring your trail runners and bags of banter!
