There were 146 runners and walkers in total on a beautiful sunny morning, total opposite to the deluge last weekend. We were very priviledged to have an "Uber Tourist" in our midst. Morgan Daniels who travelled all the way from East London ... (he was visiting Cambridge for the weekend)and decided to make March Parkrun his 97th consecutive different parkrun.Three more runs and Morgan will be in the 100 club...
Well done Morgan! It was nice to have your company along with a cuppa for a post run catch up.

This week there were 146 runners, of whom 27 were first timers and 38 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part.

Dan Bales and guests also joined us on his 40th birthday - What a great start to the day!!

Special thanks goes out to all the fabulous walkers and runners who gave our BRC volunteers lovely big smiles as they passed by. There were even a few high fives given out by Noah, Grace, Tia & Millie. Who says chivalry is dead?  One of our volunteers spotted a faster runner sprinting for the finishing line. Being a gentleman he slowed down to ensure the runner in front of him went through the finishing line before him!
You have to admit we are a very friendly and welcoming parkrun bunch.... we look forward to welcoming you next Saturday.
Have a fab week and happy running....
