Mersea Island parkrun – Event #136 – 03 August 2019

Mersea Island parkrun - Event number 136 - 3rd August 2019

What a pleasure it was to welcome everybody to the 136th Mersea Island parkrun, and particularly the many tourists who joined us for the morning.

It was also lovely to welcome so many walkers and parkrunners in football shirts!

This was another super event that once again underlined the friendly and inclusive nature of our run. Mind you, the great weather helped to make it special as well!

In truth, we struggled to fill our volunteer positions up until one hour before 'kick off'. We therefore ask that everybody gives serious thought to offering to volunteer once in every ten runs as a minimum.

Thank you once again for joining us. See you all again soon :-)
