Our second week at Conrhenny saw a change in weather - and the sun was replaced by showers.
Did it dampen our spirits - not likely
A massive thanks, once again, goes to our heroic volunteers that give their time to help ensure we can run each Saturday.
A few of the damp hi vis heroes pictured below (Reservoir Dogs style)
We are blessed for the next few weeks, whilst at Conrhenny, that we need fewer marshals than we normally do at Nobles, however, this doesn't mean its any easier each week to populate the roster. We have a few of our regulars away this coming weekend so, if you can, and you are free for an hour, please take a look at our roster at the following link...….
One big reason for a shortage this weekend.....its marathon / half marathon time again.
We have parkrunners Sarah Corkill, Craige Watson, Kate Watson, Geoff Quayle, Lynda Quayle, Katie Lawrence, Lynsey Madison and Dee Gimbert to name a few.
Good luck all! (photo opportunity the following week)
Once again we had our usual sprinkling of visitors from across the water - all very appreciative of the lifts given by fellow runners from Nobles to Conrhenny. Its a system that is working well - thankyou for generosity
Pictured below are David and Vanya Ritchie from Poole.
We cant go without a mention to four parkrunners from one family - the Hammals
Max and Amber showing Mum and Dad (James and Caitlin) the way most weeks - they have now completed 100 events between them. Through all kinds of weather they always start and finish with a smile - brilliant!
See you Saturday friends
