Well I think this years TT is officially classed as a wash out thus far (I'm writing this from home, looking out my window at a white out!)
However, the wet stayed at bay long enough to great 89 of you to this weeks event, our first ever TT event.
We chose to theme the event around motorbikes (no surprise!) and put a charity spin on it by collecting for the Dan Kneen Fund. So our car park was a mix of cars and bikes this week, welcoming several course marshals to the party - clearly keeping them busy for the day.
I am so pleased to say that we collected £106.25 - thankyou one and all.
Pre run, regular Terry Bates donated a TT hat to the cause. So we offered the hat to the first junior finisher - who was Conrhenny first timer Corrie Bate.....well done Sir!
Its our last week at our temporary home next week, so we are hoping to say a fond farewell (until August) to this wonderful location, by trying for our biggest numbers there - can we top the tonne again???????
Heres a few pics to remind you that it doesn't always rain......lol
See you Saturday
