John, one of our regular marshals was missing today after being unwell during the week. I'm sure you'll all know him as duckman and join us in wishing him a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back soon.
Stopwatches, finish tokens and scanner at the ready
Twelve people did their very first parkrun today, welcome to the parkrun family
including Kai age 5 who did his first one with Mum Melanie and wore his 'Winner' medal from school yesterday to celebrate. Well done Kai!
1st lady to finish was Beth Taylor in 19:48 which as well as being a PB is also a new Age category record for SW 20-24 and also a new female course record. Well Done Beth. She was followed by Emily Richardson in 20:37 and Millie Weaver in 22:05
First to finish was Andrew Weaver in 17:27, followed by Paul Wass in a new PB of 18:16 and Nick Stonehewer in 18:48
A few milestones slipped under the radar this week too so well done to Jasmine Holmes on her 10th, Jack Borrill and Sean Bartlett on their 50ths. Also Jake Stockdale (who did get a shout out last week but wasn't there) finally made it to 150 parkruns this week
Have a lovely weekend and we'll see you all again next week. Same time, same place.....
