Its the last parkrun of march and its starting to get warmer!
Your very own Duckman, and my grandad, John was back this week. He's doing much better and would like to thank everyone who wished him well and signed his card. Thanks also to Sue Zergi for arranging that.
It was also Fran Marritt's birthday! Happy Birthday and thank you for coming and giving out tokens!
This week parkruners everywhere were challenged to run, jog, walk or volunteer in our PJs with a chance of winning a limited edition bed! Here's Normanby regular, Martin, in his stripy pyjamas
Around the finish I was hearing the same thing over and over: "Those kids at the gate were awesome!" So I went to say hello and get their picture. Matthew marshalled point 3 for you today and brought along Abigail and Jack. They encouraged everyone and I have a suspicion they were responsible for some of the 77 PBs recorded today! I'm sure they will be back to help you some more.
parkrun always has a lovely atmosphere so come along and walk, jog, run spectate, volunteer, crawl, dance, hop, skip, backflip; however you fancy!
Don't forget to turn your running watches an hour forward tomorrow!
