Ormeau parkrun New Year’s Day 2019

The core team is pleased to announce that New Year's day Ormeau parkrun is happening again!

  • Start time is 11:00am Tuesday 1/1/2019

  • The Ozone centre will be closed so there won't be the usual access to toilet facilities
 

Ormeau parkrun New Years Day 1/1/2018 11:00am

The core team is pleased to announce that New Year's day Ormeau parkrun is returning again! Should be a great way to start 2018, please spread the word.

  • Start time is 11:00am Monday 1/1/2018
  • The regular Ormeau parkrun on Saturday will still go ahead on the 30th of December at 9.30am

  • The Ozone centre will be closed, we will try to have some tea and coffee in the finish area instead
 

No car parking at Ozone 17th June 2017

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hi Folks please read through this notice and please take close and careful attention.

Last Minute Car parking Issues have arisen in relation to the parkrun tomorrow 17/06/2017 as the Belsonic Concert is on this weekend.

There is NO car parking at the Ozone Carpark/Gravel Pitch or Access via the Ozone Leisure Centre Gate tomorrow.

The Ormeau parkrun team and the Council are working together in ensuring access to the park for public use and Ormeau parkrun will go ahead tomorrow morning at 9.30am.

Car Parking Advice: Parkrunners can park up on the Embankment tomorrow or park safely and respectfully in the streets close to the park. We advise for parkrunners to give themselves plenty of time and Aim to be there for 9.15am as opposed to 9.30am and walk or car share if possible. Please do not park illegally.

Pedestrian Access: The Usual Main gates at the Ozone Leisure Centre will be CLOSED and there will be NO Access via this gate. The council will Open the Gates at Either End of the park for Access via the Ravenhill Road/Embankment Junction and Also the Gate at the Ormeau Cross Roads Junction Facing the Library.

Toilets: The Ozone Leisure Centre/GLL have permitted parkrun use of the Toilets in the Ozone via a side door.

Start/Finish: The parkrun will start and finish in the same location as usual running the same 5k route as usual.

Volunteers: Folks we still need more volunteers for tomorrow especially due to the extra changes.
