New Years Day parkrun

We are pleased to confirm an additional parkrun at Osterley on NY day. Start time is 10.30

Last parkrun of 2018!

There was an impressive number of people at Osterley parkrun this morning for our 272nd parkrun, no doubt keen to run off some turkey and chocolate after Christmas festivities. And it was great to be able to celebrate one of our regular runner's 250th run - congratulations to Tunde, and thank you for all the help and support you give us at Osterley parkrun.
247 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 37 were first timers and 31 recorded new Personal Bests.Well done to all of you. We hope you'll join us again soon. And it was great to see so many visitors. We hope you'll visit us again - thank you to those of you who were so complimentary about our course and volunteers. We're very modest, but our parkrun is pretty awesome...

Thank you again to our hi viz heroes. We couldn't do it without you! We are looking a bit short for January so please do sign up for a slot if you can. There are a variety of jobs to be done, some of which can be done before or after the run. Do get in touch if there's something you fancy doing. We provide training and guidance for all the roles, and can happily talk you through what a role entails if you're unsure. And if you can't volunteer on a Saturday, there's always Osterley Juniors on a Sunday morning, same time, same place. Please drop us a line if you can assist!

The event was made possible by 19 volunteers:

Geoff MILES • Steve TREND • Christopher MAYBIN • Sally RAHEJA • Charmaine MCHALE • Patrick MCHALE • Els VERMEULEN • Jane MARLAND • Alison DANIELS • Maeve HYNES • Jessamy CARLSON • Lucas KAD • Kim BOBSIN • Stephen MCBRIDE • Sophie ROUHAUD • Jozsef MAK • Derek WINDEATT • Sacha SYED • Sarah BROUGH

Interested in helping with a junior parkrun ?

We are exploring the possibility of starting a junior parkrun at Osterley.
Junior parkruns are 2K events for 4-14 year olds held at 9.30 on Sundays.

We need a core team of volunteers who would be prepared to attend most Sunday mornings.

Please email osterleyhelpers@parkrun.com if you are interested.

October Sweatshop award winner

We're delighted to announce that Robert Blackledge is the final recipient of our monthly prize, generously provided by Sweatshop.  Robert's prize is a free pair of running shoes fitted at his local Sweatshop store. Following the recent announcement that the relationship between parkrun and Sweatshop has ended, this will be the last monthly prize to be awarded.

Robert started running at Osterley in 2013.  He, and his wife Louise, have volunteered many times, giving great support to the core team of Run Directors.

The winner of this monthly prize has been chosen by the Run Directors at Osterley parkrun. The successful candidates are chosen for their perseverance, improvement overall, and for also giving up their time to volunteer at parkrun.

Barcode Scanner Fail at Event Number 104; 12th September 2015

Unfortunately we've had a bit of technology breakdown with one of the barcode scanners at this morning's parkrun so a large number of you will not have received your results.

Please could you email us at osterleyoffice@parkrun.com with your name and time or position and we'll add you in manually.

Thanks and many apologies!

July Sweatshop prize winner

We're delighted to announce that Ekam Singh is the July recipient of our monthly prize, generously supported by Sweatshop. Ekam's prize is a free pair of running shoes fitted at his local Sweatshop store.

Ekam started running at Osterley to support his son and has been a regular since early 2014. He has taken several minutes off his PB and volunteers regularly with his children.

The winner of this monthly prize has been chosen by the run directors at Osterley parkrun. The successful candidates are chosen for their perseverance, improvement overall, and for also giving up their time to volunteer at parkrun.
