Parkrun No 248 – Saturday 18th May 2019

I was woken by the rain, which was coming down quite hard, on Saturday morning and feeling slightly despondent.  Thankfully by just after 8 am it had stopped and it was a very pleasant, calm morning.  Ideal conditions for a parkrun; not too cold, not too warm.  Just right.  Goldilocks would have approved.

So too must 64 of the 382 people who took part: they secured PBs - well done to you all.

Welcome also to the 33 first timers - we hope to see you all again soon.

George Rowedder was first home in 17.28.  First female was Lucy Barnes in 21.03 - congratulations both.

Many thanks, as ever, to our volunteers both old and new.  We couldn't do it without you;
