Adroddiad Rhedeg Run report Penrhyn parkrun 30/3/ 2019

‘Roedd y tywydd yn berffaith i redeg heddiw, ar ôl i Emyr drefnu haul, dim glaw, awel ysgafn, a tymheredd uchel i fis Mawrth.

Daeth 17 o wirfoddolwyr i wasanaethu 222 o redwyr. Diolch yn fawr i Tracey COOL, Thandi GILDER, Levente INCZE, Emyr JONES, Deiniol JONES, Jenny JONES, Megan MACDONALD-JONES, Ffion MACDONALD-JONES, Catrin MACEY, Dale MACEY, Nel MACEY, Ann PIPE, Lowri PRITCHARD, Rhian ROBERTS, Carolyn SNELLGROVE, Gwyn WILLIAMS ac Eirian WILLIAMS. Heb yr arwyr yma, mi fuasai wedi bod yn fore gwahanol iawn.

Bydd un gwirfoddolwraig yn edrych ymlaen i gael crys piws newydd: llongyfarchiadau i Megan MACDONALD-JONES ar ei 25ain diwrnod o wirfoddoli! Mae hyn y cynnwys naw rôl wahanol. Da iawn ti Megan!

Dywedodd Simon LONGMAN nad oedd wedi sylweddoli mai heddiw oedd ei 150fed parkrun, ond ‘roedd Emyr wedi cofio a’i longyfarch.

‘Roedd 26 o redwyr yn rhedeg eu parkrun cyntaf heddiw. Croeso i chi i gyd i parkrun. ‘Rydan ni’n edrych ymlaen i’ch gweld eto cyn bo hir.

Cafodd 49 o’n rhedwyr eu hamser gorau yma, yn cynnwys Lowri PRITCHARD ar ôl rhedeg 68 gwaith ym Mhenrhyn, Sion Llyr ROBERTS ar ôl 46, a Russell BENTLEY. Llongyfarchiadau i chi i gyd.

Russell BENTLEY oedd y cyntaf dros y lein heddiw, gyda amser o 15:41. Hwn ydy’r ail gyflymaf amser ym Mhenrhyn erioed, allan o 35 091 o ganlyniadau!

Go Russell!

Fracesca MOTTOLA oedd y ferch gyntaf dros y lein, gyda amser o 21:11

Russell BENTLEY hefyd oedd y cyntaf ar y cyfrif “age grade”, 85.12%!

‘Roedd Duncan WATTS yn dathlu ei benblwydd yn 40 oed (anodd coelio gan ei fod wedi cwblhau’r cwrs mewn 21:59). Mi ddaeth a teisys (cacennau i chi o’r de) a ffrwchnedd (banana i chi sydd heb fod yn y caffi ar ôl parkrun Dolgellau!) i ni fwynhau, Diolch Duncan. Penblwydd hapus!

Efallai eich bod wedi sylwi fy mod i yn rhedeg 16 gwaith heddiw a gwirfoddoli 4 gwaith heddiw? Roedd y feddygfa wedi dod allan i ddathlu (dim ond 5 diwrnod o waith sydd gen i ar ôl efo nhw). ‘Roeddan nhw i gyd yn gwisgo masgiau efo fy ngwyneb arnynt, a crysau efo “Tîm Dr Wil” arnynt. Diolch i chi i gyd am wneud y diwrnod yn un arbennig i mi.

Gobeithio y gwelan ni chi i gyd ym Mhenrhyn eto cyn bo hir, mi fydd croeso mawr!

There was perfect weather for Penrhyn parkrun today, after Emyr, our run director, arranged sun, no rain, a light breeze and high temperature for March.

17 volunteers were there to serve 222 runners. Thank you very much to Tracey COOL, Thandi GILDER, Levente INCZE, Emyr JONES, Deiniol JONES, Jenny JONES, Megan MACDONALD-JONES, Ffion MACDONALD-JONES, Catrin MACEY, Dale MACEY, Nel MACEY, Ann PIPE, Lowri PRITCHARD, Rhian ROBERTS, Carolyn SNELLGROVE, Gwyn WILLIAMS and Eirian WILLIAMS. Without these heroes, it would have been a very different morning.

One volunteer will be looking forward to having a new purple shirt: congratulations to Megan MACDONALD-JONES on her 25th day of volunteering! These were in nine different roles. Well done Megan!

Simon LONGMAN hadn’t realised that he was running his 150th parkrun, but Emyr knew and congratulated him.

26 runners ran their first ever parkrun this morning. Welcome to parkrun, all of you! We’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

49 people had personal best here today, including Lowri PRITCHARD after running 68 times at Penrhyn, Sion Llyr Roberts after 46, and Russell BENTLEY. Congratulations to all of you.

Russell BENTLEY was the first across the line today, with a time of 15:47. This is the second fastest time ever at Penrhyn, out of 35 091 results!

Fracesca MOTTOLA was the first lady across the line, with a time of 21:11

Russell BENTLEY was also first in age grade, 85.12%!

Duncan WATTS was celebrating his 40th birthday, (difficult to believe because he finished the course in 21:59). He brought bananas and cakes for us to enjoy. Thank you Duncan. Happy birthday!

Perhaps you noticed that I was running 16 times and volunteering 4 times today? The surgery had come out to celebrate (I only have 5 days left working with them). The were all wearing masks with my face on them, and shirts with “Tîm Dr Wil” on them. Thank you all for making the day special for me.

We hope that we’ll see you all in Penrhyn again before long: there’ll be a big welcome!
