Run report by Pradeep Kumara Event No 231 27th July 2019

Saturday 27 July 2019 was quite a mild still morning after a week of unusually hot temperatures. It was perfect for walking, jogging or running the two big and two small laps around Penrhyn Castle. 178 park runners took on Penrhyn parkrun, event number 231. There were a lot of visitors to Penrhyn, a fantastic 52 first timers and representatives of 25 different clubs. Congratulations to the 23 people who recorded new Personal Bests! Congratulations too to the 2 people who reached their 50 milestones. Hope you had lots of cake from Penrhyn café to celebrate.

The female record is held by Holly WEEDALL who recorded a time of 17:49 on 28th July 2018 (event number 184).
The Age Grade course record is held by Claire WILLIAMS who recorded 89.81% (19:08) on 9th April 2016 (event number 70).

Penrhyn parkrun started on 15th November 2014. Since then 9,037 participants have completed 38,170 park runs covering a total distance of 190,850km.6,961 new Personal Bests. A total of 577 individuals have volunteered 2,996 times.
