My stint as Event Director at Penrose parkrun has come to an end after 240 parkruns! Many thanks to all who have supported me during that time - all the volunteers and runners and of course Graham!
It was Alan Jones' 230th parkrun - nearly 250!
We had visitors from as far afield as Camborne (with a few others from Somerset and Exmouth!
Don't forget to wear your Halloween fancy dress costumes next week.
I'm sure we'll all meet again the near future.....!
This week 192 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 21 were first timers and 32 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 22 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Grace BROCK who recorded a time of 16:32 on 29th December 2018 (event number 197).
The male record is held by Peter LE GRICE who recorded a time of 14:38 on 1st January 2019 (event number 198).
The Age Grade course record is held by Emma STEPTO who recorded 93.43% (17:31) on 25th August 2018 (event number 178).
Penrose parkrun started on 28th March 2015. Since then 9,673 participants have completed 44,046 parkruns covering a total distance of 220,230 km, including 8,812 new Personal Bests. A total of 390 individuals have volunteered 3,222 tim
