After a soggy start today was perfect running weather as 303 people tackled Penrose parkrun. There were a few first timers and a few tourists today with James Johns earning his 50 parkrun t-shirt and Rosie Kelly her 10th. Well done to everyone who ran today.
Thanks go to today's volunteers, especially Derrick Frantz who stepped into the fray at the last minute. And well done to the timers and finish token volunteers for coping with a couple of 'twice through the funnel' dramas. A reminder to everyone, please never go through our finish funnel more than once, it causes a minor headache and is so easily avoidable!!
