Peterborough parkrun #326 – Yaxley Takeover

On Saturday 21 st September 2019, Yaxley Runners and Joggers took over parkrun event number 326.

Yaxley Runners and Joggers is a friendly local club, established in 1986, catering for all abilities. Our club evenings are Mondays and Thursdays, meeting at 6:30pm, to run at 6:45pm. On Mondays we meet at Hampton Sports Centre, Beaumont Way and new runners are welcomed and thoroughly supported.

This week 588 people ran, jogged or walked the course, of whom 76 recorded new personal bests!

Congratulations to Shaun WALTON who was the first male in a time of 16:37. The first female was Louisa HARRISON in a speedy 20:32. First junior male was first timer Aedan LYDON in 18:43 and the first junior female was another first timer, Ellen ASTLEY in 21:46.

Another congratulations goes to Rachel MINETT who not only got a new personal best of 32:18, but went on to get married Saturday afternoon.
