On a very wet morning, 202 runners joined the Phoenix volunteers for the very first Phoenix parkrun. The hill took some by surprise, but the feedback was really positive and the photos show that we had loads of fun in the rain!
Colin THOMPSON (VM35-39) of Helsby RC, was first over the line in 18:05 - first appearance.
Robert FAIRBANKS (VM35-39) of Royton Road Runners, was second over the line in 18:33.
David BROCKWAY (SM20-24) of Wirral AC, was third over the line in 19:15.
Selina MAKIN (SW30-34) of Wigan Phoenix, was first (32nd overall) over the line in 23:19 - first appearance.
Lisa HIGHFIELD (SW25-29) of Sandbach Striders, was second (42nd overall) over the line in 24:15.
Michelle MORTIMER (VW35-39) of Witham Runners, was third (48th overall) over the line in 24:44.
