The day dawned overcast but dry, it would have been perfect parkrun weather if not for the strong wind but 95 brave runners and 15 Hi-viz heroes still turned up for their weekly parkrun fix despite the breeze.
In 'tribute' of our new run director Ian, some runners collaborated to ensure there was a selection of 'interesting' sprint finishes.

This week there were 95 runners, of whom 16 were first timers and 20 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part.
Pomphrey Hill parkrun started on 1st March 2014, and since then 936 different runners, including participants from 93 athletics clubs, have completed 2,945 runs covering a total distance of 14,725 km, and there have been 817 new Personal Bests.
The women's record is held by Amelia HICKS who ran in a time of 00:19:48 on 2014-05-17 (event number 12).
The men's record is held by Scott CAMPBELL who ran in a time of 00:17:08 on 2014-08-16 (event number 25).
The Age Grade course record is held by Maggie BROMLEY who recorded a 80.48% run (22:48) on 21st June 2014 (event number 17).
