It's the end of another parkrun year for us - our 4th birthday is next week! We have come a long way from the day the idea of a new parkrun for Edinburgh was born, and we couldn't do it without you, our parkrun community. Whether you run, jog, walk or volunteer, you contribute to a very special community event each and every week. Thank you.

We had three milestones today, all joining the 50 club. Well done to Louise Stephen, Mauro Pacitti and Arthur Watson.
This week 303 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 39 were first timers and 55 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 31 different clubs took part. Today's full results and a complete event history can be found on the Portobello parkrun, Edinburgh Results Page.
The male record is held by Andrew DOUGLAS who recorded a time of 15:21 on 7th November 2015 (event number 29).
The female record is held by Jo WILLIAMS who recorded a time of 17:13 on 26th May 2018 (event number 157).
The Age Grade course record is held by Susan BURNS who recorded 92.66% (20:39) on 28th July 2018 (event number 166).
Portobello parkrun, Edinburgh started on 18th April 2015. Since then 9,969 participants have completed 54,672 parkruns covering a total distance of 273,360 km, including 9,780 new Personal Bests. A total of 792 individuals have volunteered 4,004 times.
