An alternative course for us this morning and the overwhelming feedback was that this worked well for participants, so we’ll continue to use this until the bridge is repaired. Please note that no dogs or buggies will be able to participate during the time the alternative course is in operation.

This week 309 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 72 were first timers and 19 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 44 different clubs took part.

Portobello parkrun, Edinburgh started on 18th April 2015. Since then 10,955 participants have completed 60,670 parkruns covering a total distance of 303,350 km, including 10,620 new Personal Bests. A total of 848 individuals have volunteered 4,442 times.
