This week saw the launch of (not) parkrun, an initiative set up by parkrun that allows participants to represent their home run by running, jogging or walking 5k anywhere, any day, any time and logging their result via their parkrun profile.
You can enter as many times as you want to between Monday – Sunday (maximum one per day) and the table will update to display your fastest time.
This is for fun only – these runs don’t count towards your parkrun total, which remains suspended until events resume.
The week saw pleasant conditions for running and by Wednesday, our table had begun to build. It was great to see a total of 38 Raphael parkrunners logging 54 (not)parkrun times between them before the cut off point of midnight on Sunday.
parkrunner Alika Williams was the first to log a time for Raphael (Monday, 25:00) beating this on Wednesday with a time of 24:27. Great running, Alika!
The fastest time logged this week was from Richard Woolerton (21:15) with Cary Driscoll second fastest (21:57).
Nicola Morgan logged the most (not)parkruns with four.
Eight different running clubs were represented.
The full table is here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/raphael/results/notparkrun/?date=2020-06-21
and this week’s table is active, ready to be filled!
Remember, you choose your 5k route, you choose when to run, jog or walk. As per the advice throughout this period, please continue to avoid Raphael at 9am on Saturdays.

The weather is set to become pretty warm this week, so stay hydrated and Happy (not)parkrunning
