What made you come along that very first time? How did you hear about parkrun? Did someone encourage you to come along?

I’d never been before, having been in the area for 7 years and Raphael is my local park. I thought I’d check it out and loved every second of it!

I love parkrun because...

Nothing gets me out of bed on a Saturday morning like parkrun does!

Which is your favourite volunteer role and why?

Has to be the marshals! Without them and everyone of course, the event wouldn’t run as smoothly.

Fun fact, I have run 18 World Marathon Majors and am a Six Star Finisher.
